Michael Craige, highly motivated,
execution-driven, and technically sophisticated information sciences professional committed

My
professional interest is
focused on the use of information sciences (including
administration, architecture, interoperability, security, privacy, and storage solutions) to help physician practices, community hospitals,
and research facilities enhance their
existing information technology infrastructure; oversee informatics
projects, interface with patient care systems, healthcare administration,
IT/informatics operations and research or to launch one de novo.

In 1994,
Michael began his professional career as an
information systems engineer.
His entrepreneurial journey began in late 2001, when
he formed Cimige (formally Michael
Craige, Inc.). By then he had worked for
Bay Resources, IBM, Cerner Corporation, and
as an executive at Accenture (formally Andersen
Consulting). Michael, who often serves as a
healthcare technology advisor to top institutional asset managers, was named
on the list of "Who Is Who" in IT by the Information
Technology Association of Canada for Ontario and spoke at the 2003
International Technology Partnering Forum in Toronto Canada.
Michael earned his first
degree in computer information science from Florida Metropolitan University,
and later on graduated cum laude from DeVry University
with a second degree in Biomedical Informatics and a MBA in health services
management from Keller Graduate
School of Management. Michael is an
IBM Certified Specialist, since 1998 and a veteran of
multiple technology implementations and integration of business, financial
and clinical application suites.
In 2006, Michael gained biomedical informatics
research and
informatics programming (Bio-Perl) experience during his internship within the
department of Human Genetics at Emory University,
Atlanta, GA. Michael is currently an Executive MBA in
Management of Technology candidate at Georgia Institute of Technology.
